What is Quality and how can I thrive from it?

Hello Everyone,

I'd like to preface my blog with a little insight about who I am and how I'd like to help you.

My name is Mark Lahn and I have been in the web hosting and IT industry for over 10 years. I have extensive experience in all things web hosting, and I am currently serving as the sales manager for Hostech Support. It is my goal to keep you informed about some aspects of this industry that you may not be aware of. I also want to help you make the most informed choice when it comes to your support needs.

People consistently ask me, what is quality? It's a pretty vague question, but it has a lot of depth to it. Quality can refer to many things, but mainly it deals with the level of service you can consistently expect from whoever you are working with. In order to thrive in the web hosting industry, quality is king. That includes providing a support service that is customer oriented rather than profit oriented. Once the former is established, the latter will follow. One of the reasons I love working with Hostech is because our technicians know how to deal with clients. We make it our mission to train every employee in amazing client management. This allows your clients to feel at home with us. If you are able to establish yourself as a reputable company, even if you make a mistake every once in a while, your clients will stay loyal.

One of the factors that denote quality in our industry is uptime. That involves having people around 24 hours a day to ensure that happens. Throughout the span of any company, regardless of how long that company has been around , uptime will always make or break you. Not only that, but the communication surrounding any downtime as well. There was a major hosting company that had some downtime which caused their site to go down. But their use of Twitter to convey the status updates of the downtime allowed the event to not be a major issue.

What can I do to stand out?

-Provide quality technical support
-Have technicians around 24/7 to provide a consistent service
-Treat your clients with a personal approach that companies like Hostech provide
-Become a customer focused business rather than a profit focused business (you will enjoy the results when you are an established firm)
-Communicate with your clients on as many platforms as possible

Using outsourced support allows you to focus on helping clients rather than on minor server issues that can be resolved much more quickly through our team. The costs and time associated with managing a pristine support team are tough, but we have the system perfected. Take a look at our plans to see if our services can help you stand out from the crowd.

Have a fantastic January.
